If you don't have any good pix of your pretty face, send me a lousy pik and maybe I can make you look great -- within reason, hee hee! You don't HAVE to send a picture. Everyone of you should be in there somewhere, IMHO, if for no other reason than to say hi to the guys cruising through for a look-see. One of those Look-See Guys might just be the man of your dreams -- your very soulmate!

A retired federal judge has criticized the military.s .don.t ask, don.t tell. policy, saying military officials have engaged in a witch-hunt against gay service members. .I do not care much for witch-hunters,. Abner Mikva, a former judge on the U.S. district court of appeals, said at an event Wednesday to honor service members dismissed for being gay or lesbian. .I do not believe you should have to hide behind a mask to serve our country. We are moving toward a true democracy, but we are doing so at a very slow pace.. In 1993 Mikva ruled that the government.s ban on gay service members was unconstitutional. He made his comments at an event sponsored by the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, a group that advocates for gay military personnel. Mikva was among three recipients of awards from SLDN. Also honored were playwright Marc Wolfe, author of Another American: Asking & Telling, and former airman first class Deanna Grossi, who was targeted during a witch-hunt last year at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, Calif.

Please get as specific as you can about geographical location. Either list your town or area of the state or country. If you don't want to name your town, for example, give me a more general area, such as "Cincinnati area" or "Southern Ohio" instead of just "Ohio" or, again for example, "Bexleyheath" or "Kent" or "The White Cliffs of Dover" (hee hee!) instead of "Merry Olde England" or "UK" or "Really Great Britain" or "Melbourne" instead of "Australia."

If you have already sent in a profile and just answered "Planet Earth" (for example), feel free to send me a correction to a more specific area such as "Paris, Kentucky, not France."
