Subject: Lieberman daughter calls for hate-crimes law?

(Ben Boxer says: "I send Rebecca Lieberman to the head of the class for her stance in the article below. On the other hand, I send Lynne Cheney to stand in the corner on account of her adamant silence on her own daughter's lesbianism. Dick Cheney's wife should be out in front trumpeting total civil rights for her daughter at Republican rallies. So much for family values!")

Lieberman.s daughter calls for hate-crimes law
(The Advocate, 10/03/00)

Text:
Rebecca Lieberman, the daughter of Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman, joined gay activists at a rally for Al Gore in Philadelphia on Monday, calling for passage of a federal hate-crimes law, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

.Al Gore is the only candidate in this election who supports hate-crimes legislation and equal rights for gays and lesbians,. said Lieberman, 31, who works for the New York City board of education. .He has been a tireless crusader for the Hate Crimes Prevention Act.. The event was part of a series of rallies held in approximately 15 cities promoting the Democratic presidential ticket.

Also joining Lieberman in Philadelphia was Rep. Barney Frank. .Al Gore and Joe Lieberman have not only a record in their own careers of support for gay and lesbian rights, but they are committed to progress in every single area,. Frank told the crowd of about 70 Gore supporters. .In every single area where we are the victims of prejudice, they would protect us..

Subject: IMPORTANT INFO + Foxhunter: Macho Man

When sending pictures to the list, it's a good idea to type the category in the subject line, as I have done above.

The reason, of course, is that everyone has different tastes. It's easier for them to delete the categories they don't care about and don't necessarily want to see.

This is the attitude you need to develop on a list of this type: tolerance for the other man's tastes and opinions.

This list is for young and old and in-between. The emphasis is on the older man, but many of the older men like the youngers, and that's why we are all here together.

Define your categories of pix as you wish. I am going to be using "fox" for silverfoxes and "hunter" for foxhunters, "combo" for a combination of the two, or a duo, and "bear" for the bearish type in general, including chubs. I'll use "misc" (miscellany) or "none" for pix that don't fall into a category, like dick shots or cum shots which are close-ups of the genitals, etc. "None" is also for cartoons or joke gifs.

The point is simply to identify the pix you send in some way that will make it easier for people to sort them out. I personally don't know why people get so fussy about what they want to look at or don't want to look at. I say look and save or delete, per your personal taste.

As the pix on this list will be added to the Archives, I will make the decision on whether they go into the Archives or not. Some pix are so poorly lighted or otherwise fucked up they aren't worth saving. If they have good elements, however, I will try to improve them and archive them. But if they require more work to fix up than I want to do, out they will go.

Smooches to all, and welcome to the new list. We've been in operation for only a few hours and lots of people have already subscribed. I am hoping that everybody on my other two lists (benboxerlist and benboxerpixlist) will come along for the joy ride.

Conservative legal foundation chief charged with indecency
(Associated Press, 10/04/00)

Text:
ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- The leader of a conservative legal foundation seeking to have President Clinton disbarred was charged with public indecency.

An undercover federal officer said he saw Matthew J. Glavin fondling himself on May 17 on a trail in the Chattahoochee National River Park in Gwinnett County, just east of Atlanta. The officer said Glavin also fondled him after the two started talking.

Glavin, 47, president and chief executive of the Atlanta-based Southeastern Legal Foundation, denied the charges. He was in U.S. District Court in connection with the case on Tuesday but did not enter a plea because his hearing was rescheduled.

The foundation, which Glavin has led since 1994, has fought to abolish Atlanta's affirmative action program and sued to have Clinton disbarred for lying under oath in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case.

Subject: Real Symbol of the Olympics

This picture was sent to another list which I am a member of.

With the Olympics now over, and having sold over 120,000 condoms during that time period at the Olympics, not including all the free ones distributed, this is probably the real symbol for the Olympics, hehe.

I made a mistake in my address book and placed the wrong suffix after QueerNet. If you are in doubt, the correct address for sending postings to the list is:
