Subject: Humor: Alligator Warning

The Florida State Department of Fish and Wildlife is advising hikers, hunters, fishers, and golfers to take extra precautions and keep alert for alligators while in Osceola, Polk, Brevard and Orange Counties. They advise people to wear noise-producing devices such as little bells on their clothing to alert but not startle the alligators unexpectedly.

They also advise the carrying of pepper spray in case of an encounter with an alligator. It is also a good idea to watch for fresh signs of alligator activity. People should recognize the difference between small young alligator and large adult alligator droppings. Young alligator droppings are smaller and contain fish bones and possibly bird feathers. Adult alligators droppings have little bells in them and smell like pepper spray.

Ben Boxer notes: The article below reminds me of Stalin's purges in the 1930s or of the expulsion of boys with one Jewish grandparent from the Hitler Youth groups in the same decade. There is something sinister about the fascist tactics the Boy Scouts of America have now decided to use in punishing tolerance. Meanwhile, the television networks continue to run the arrogant BSA commercials claiming to build character in American boys. For these and other reasons, I am beginning to feel as if I were living in Germany in 1933.

Scouts Expel Troops Whose Leaders Oppose Gay Ban
(The Washington Post, 01/30/01)

Text:
CHICAGO, Jan. 26 -- The Boy Scouts of America is effectively expelling seven Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops in suburban Oak Park because their sponsoring organizations said they could not abide by a rule that excludes gays.

The troops are among the first to be expelled since the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in June that permits the Boy Scouts to discriminate against homosexuals. They were informed that they will have to disband by Feb. 28 -- the date on which the troops would have to renew their annual charters -- unless their parent-teacher sponsors drop their opposition to the rule excluding gays.

"We had this fundamental conflict between the way we operate and the way they operate," said Irene Clute, president of an Oak Park Parent Teacher Organization that sponsors Scout and Cub troops in the village 10 miles west of Chicago. She said the sponsoring parent-teacher organizations would not yield to the Boy Scouts of America edict.

The ruling handed down by the regional Des Plaines Valley Boy Scouts Council, which Scout officials said was made in consultation with the Boy Scouts of America headquarters in Irving, Tex., affects 40 to 50 members in each of the seven troops. Two other school-sponsored Scout troops avoided a showdown by finding new sponsors.

Gregg Shields, BSA national spokesman, said the expelled troops "are allowed to participate if they want to agree to values held by the Boy Scouts of America. If they don't agree, no one is forcing them to participate, and we'll continue to offer Boy Scouting to anyone who respects our values."

(Ben Boxer adds: Oddly, just as I was editing this article for length and read the last words above -- "respects our values" -- I heard similar words from the actor Jose Ferrer in a film on TV I am half-watching as I work. He plays a Jewish professor who has turned himself in to the Nazis for "resettlement," a euphemism for the death camps. When offered a chance to escape by a former student, he refuses, and when asked why, replies, "I do not respect Nazi values." I say the same to the BSA and to the U.S. Supreme Court which has placed its stamp of approval on the BSA's bigotry as on other more recent obscenities.)

Hello Men..

When a guy sends you a pic of himself having sex, dose that make you want that person more or does it turn you off?

personally, I agree with the statement that is made. I find it insulting when someone assumes i will like them for a body part that they show me. and another thing.. when someone assumes that you want to have phone sex right off the bat..that pisses me off.

I personally, have a fettish.. i find men in suits and ties, extremely erotic as opposed to being naked. in fact, i like to preform tantic sex on men while they are dressed up.

to those who find this offenseive, turned or do not understand this and ignorantly choose to oppose this... im not gonna say it, but you know what i mean.

i have every right just like anyone else to like what i do, and no one ought to have an issue with it. there is a reason for everything.

To me I find the sexiest look is to have a rugged masculine man of 60 or better wearing a long sleeve shirt and have the cuffs turned up a turn or two and the top 4 buttons open to be able to glimpse the hairy chest and lower arms, that is what makes me visualize what he would look like better than some picture of an unknown cock which after a while they all look alike and you seldom can tell the age of the person which is of major importance to many including myself..I have no interest whatsoever in anyone under 58 and only then if they are no the kind that try to be a very youthful type..I want a man that is and looks his senior age and is still a MAN..

Then again its just this old mans personal opinion...

Good question... I think that if I was pursuing a relationship it'd turn me off, majorly. If it was just a casual thing and I never really intended to meet the guy or anything then it could be a turn on.

That's actually a really interesting question. As for myself, I'd have to answer, "It depends." And actually, it really would depend on the photo

"If" the person in question is doing something that I would like to do, the answer would be -- more.

"If" the person in question is doing something that I would not like to do, the answer would be -- less.

"If" the person in question is doing something that I would like to do with another person (the other person in the photo) that I think is HOT, the answer would be -- more.

"If" the person in question is doing something that I would not like do with another person (the other person in the photo) that I DON'T think is HOT, the answer would be -- less.

"If" the person in question is doing something that I would not like to do, with with another person (the other person in the photo)that I think is HOT, the answer would be -- less.

"If" the person in question is doing something that I would not like to do with someone else that I think is NOT HOT (the other person in the photo), the answer would be -- much less.

I know that it all sounds confusing. I could hardly write it without getting mixed up.

And after all of that, it doesn't even take into account the "jealousy factor" -- "What a slut, he should be saving that for me." or "If he'll do that with HIM I couldn't trust him." and on and on.

Thought provoking question.

Bravo!
Peace & Love,
Big Joe

Subject: Zimbabwe ex-president freed after jail term for sodomy

Ben Boxer says: You may not be interested in Zimbabwe, but the article below presents a fascinating case. The country used to be known as Southern Rhodesia, and I spent a lot of time there in my youth. It includes Victoria Falls, Africa's answer to Niagara Falls in North America and Iguassu Falls in South America.

Zimbabwe ex-president freed after jail term for sodomy

Text:
Zimbabwe's former president Canaan Banana has been released from prison after serving a one-year jail term for sexual assault and sodomy, the official Herald newspaper reported Tuesday. The paper said Banana left prison Monday morning. Zimbabwe's supreme court last May overturned Banana's appeal against his conviction after a highly publicized trial in which one of his former aides said he was forced into a homosexual relationship with Banana between 1984 and 1986. Banana, 63, was found guilty on 11 counts of sodomy, attempted sodomy, and indecent assault. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but nine of those years were suspended.
